ightshade was inspired by the visuals created in classic film combining exquisite framing of the subject matter and thought provoking locations chosen to elicit powerful emotions. Specifically in this piece, we chose a potentially dangerous subject, the poisonous Nightshade plant, set against the tranquil and soothing backdrop of a moonrise over a snowy mountain range. The unusual perspective and depth created by distinct levels of glass completes an effect which compels the viewer to get lost in the finished piece.
